The North wall bar in Zermatt is probably one of the most well known bars in the alps among skiers and climbers. Serving a wide range of drinks, pizzas and nachos, skiing and climbing videos and a lively atmosphere, there's something for everyone. Tucked away down a quiet backstreet, the north wall is a hive of activity most nights. Serving drinks, pizzas and nachos it attracts a wide ranging crowd from serious extreme skiers to holidaymakers and of course all the resort workers who come for its extremely reasonable prices.

A warm welcome can always be found, and up to date information on skiing and climbing conditions can always be obtained from the friendly barstaff, or one of the local ski bums. This site is designed to be an extension of the bar, hopefully providing something of interest to both newcomers, and the Zermatt veteran.
